Saif Ali Survives Attempted Burglary Attack, Recovering in ICU After Surgery

Actor Saif Ali Khan was injured in an attempted burglary at his Bandra residence late Wednesday night. During the altercation with an intruder, Saif sustained six stab wounds. He was rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent a 2.5-hour surgery. The procedure was successful, and the actor is now in stable condition, recovering in the ICU. Doctors reported that Saif’s injuries included a major wound near his spine, requiring surgery to remove the knife and repair leaking spinal fluid. He also sustained two deep wounds on his left hand and neck, which were treated by plastic surgery. Saif’s condition is improving, and he is expected to be moved to a regular ward in 1-2 days.
