Matteo Berrettini was defeated in the second round of the Australian Open by Holger Rune. The latter overcame the blue in four sets (7-6, 2-6, 6-3, 7-6), closing the match with a tie-break victory. The Dane will face the Serbian Miomir Kecmanovic in the round of 32.
