Predicted AFC Bournemouth team for trip to Newcastle

As James Hill went off with a tight hamstring on Tuesday night, there are now nine first team players who are injured, if Hill cannot play at the weekend.

The Daily Echo predicts how the Cherries will line up at St James’ Park.

Goalkeeper

Mark Travers started on Tuesday night, but with Kepa Arrizabalaga available once again, the Spaniard will likely start.

If Hill is indeed ruled out, then Lewis Cook will start at right back, alongside the ever-dependable, young centre back duo Illia Zabarnyi and Dean Huijsen.

Milos Kerkez will continue at left back.

Midfielders

Tyler Adams was impressive in midfield on Tuesday night, and while Ryan Christie started as a number 10, he will slot back alongside Adams at Newcastle, with Cook dropping to right back.

Forwards

Andoni Iraola may slightly tweak his forward line at the weekend to give him more options off the bench, as he tried to do on Tuesday with Justin Kluivert left on the bench, until Hill went off through injury after 23 minutes.

Daniel Jebbison made a good cameo off the bench at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night and he may get the nod from the beginning so that Iraola has Dango Ouattara to call upon across the front line in the second half.

Full team: Kepa; Kerkez, Huijsen, Zabarnyi, Cook; Adams, Christie; Semenyo, Kluivert, Brooks, Jebbison.
