6,600 professors and students call for an academic boycott of Israel, including Petra De Sutter and Rudi Vranckx among signatories

The call received support from a broad group of signatories, including 29 deans, 64 heads of departments, 1,107 professors, 1,518 researchers, 634 employees from administrative, technical and educational positions, and 3,290 students. The initiators speak of “the largest collective indictment against Israel’s human rights violations in Gaza and Palestine ever from the Belgian academic world”.
