Mohamed Abdel Nabawi, President-Delegate of the Supreme Council of the Judicial Authority, revealed today, Wednesday, that various courts experienced difficulty in exercising their duties during the year 2024 due to some social protests by clerks’ clerks and some other judicial professions, in reference to the protests of the defense staff.
The First President of the Court of Cassation confirmed, during the opening of the new judicial year for the year 2025, that these protests had a noticeable impact on the normal course of judicial performance, especially with regard to the confusion of the hearing system, the failure to register files, and the delay in completing procedures.
Abdel Nabawi added that despite this, the Kingdom’s courts witnessed great activity, as 4,330,994 new files were registered, as judges were able to broadcast 4,466,727 cases, i.e. 103 percent of the registered cases, and 88.5 percent. Of the total number of popular cases, this is a percentage that occurs for the first time.
