“It was ridiculous and he blew my nose”: tension on the set of Quotidien, muscular exchange between Vincent Lindon and Gad Elmaleh

This Tuesday, January 14, 2025, many artists were present on the set of the show “Quotidien”, notably Gad Elmaleh and Vincent Lindon, who had a heated exchange.

A new show and a new film, the year 2025 promises to be busy for comedian Gad Elmaleh and actor Vincent Lindon. The two artists were present on the set of the show “Quotidien” presented by Yann Barthès. At the start of the program, jokes were present in the discussions, but as the discussion progressed, the situation began to become tense, reports Mag du Figaro.

“Tonight for example I’m getting exasperated”

“Making people laugh was a consequence of my job, now it’s really a mission, it’s my goal. And it brings me a lot of joy”indicates Gad Elmaleh. The television host then asks him where this goal comes from. “Can you ask nicer?”the actor laughs. “I don't know about you, but I find this interview very weird. But I like Yann Barthès”souffle Gad Elmaleh.

“I believe that we are evolving, that is to say, the way we do our job is evolving. Before, I was looking for results in everything I did…”responds Gad Elmaleh all the same before being cut off by Vincent Lindon: “I'm laughing because as much as it's been great so far, but 'I think we're evolving', yes. We're all evolving”indicates the actor.

“Wait, I’m just going to finish.”retorts the comedian. Did Vincent Lindon act too much? A moment of embarrassment was noted in the middle of the broadcast, notably due to the barbs thrown by Vincent Lindon.

The jokes and barbs begin to multiply between the two. Yann Barthès then decides to launch a game “Who said what”. “If I crossed paths I would get extremely exasperated”begins the television host. The actor responds directly, before anyone else can speak.

“That's me. This evening, for example, I'm getting exasperated. I've changed my mood for a minute and it's good for me, good for my face. Because it's not my job of making people laugh. It was going well and I was too stupid. I apologize. It was ridiculous and he blew my face. It wasn't visible but the feet were hard. I'm glad, before I get cramps, that the sentence that concerns me comes quickly. I hate myself because I hate being smart. So he crossed paths with me, I may have exasperated him a little but in any case I just exasperated myself enormously”he apologized.

Gad Elmaleh likely accepted his apology and even praised his honesty. The end of the show passed in calm and good humor.
