Australian Open: Jacob Fearnley second-round match delayed by rain

Rain put a halt to Briton Jacob Fearnley’s second-round clash against Arthur Cazaux at the Australian Open on Wednesday.

Fearnley was down 2-0 in the first set against his French opponent when the match was suspended due to the wet weather in Melbourne.

Fearnley stunned Australian Nick Kyrgios in the opening round Monday, beating the local favorite in a convincing 7-6 (3), 6-3, 7-6 (1) victory.

British women’s No. 4 Harriet Dart could also be forced to wait for her second-round match against Croatia’s Donna Vekic if the rain doesn’t subside.
