Amboise surprised in Chambray, Azay-Cheillé and Descartes neutralize each other

In the weekend derby in group A, the Ridelloise reserve (9e7 pt) held Descartes in check (7e12 pt) on his home field (1-1). A small disappointment for Mahfoud Soltani and his family: “It was a resumption match where each team had its highlightsanalyzes the Descartois coach. We could have made the difference in the first half hour, but we still lacked offensive realism, which has penalized us for several matches. Azay-Cheillé, however, was also dangerous and put us in difficulty. This draw therefore seems logical to me in terms of the nature of the match…”

For his part, Fabrice Beauvillain is disappointed with the result more than the manner: “We showed good things but, at the end, we are still not completely rewarded for our efforts. We are picking up points but that is not enough. We will have to be more decisive in our next matches against our direct competitors. Maintenance will require more realism. We are capable of it, I am convinced! »

Mountains (3e19 pt) will play at Argenton (4e18 pt) Saturday January 18 to try to consolidate his place on the podium.

Amboise disillusioned, FC gets back on track

The Chambray reserve (10e7 pt) created a surprise in Pool C by getting the better of AC Amboise (3e20 pt) after an undecided match (2-1). A great performance for the protégés of Valentine Etta Arrey, who are relaunching in the race for maintenance, and a disappointment for the Amboisiens who nevertheless remained on a good performance against the leader Contres, just before the break (1-0)…

Tours FC (4e16 pt) provided the essentials by dominating Foot Sud 41 (2-0) and returned to the first part of the table. Aldo Angoula's men will have a good chance to play in two weeks with the reception of Boigny-Chécy (2e21 pt) : “It's a good result for us, even if everything can be improved. Here we are relaunched after a small period of doubt before the break. We now need to confirm the next day to see things even more clearly! » If successful, the Tourangeaux could indeed return to contact with the top of the table…

Montlouis is relaunching

In pool D, if La Ville-aux-Dames (12e5 pt) was on forced rest this weekend (his match against Pithiviers having been postponed to January 19), Montlouis (9e12 pt) took the opportunity to get off to a good start by beating AFC (2-1). A success which does good for Jason Corbin's men, who thus move away a little from the red zone and return to contact with the peloton in a very tight and dense championship.

Seven teams are in fact in six small points and everything can go very quickly in one direction or the other. The next reception at neighboring La Ville-aux-Dames (Sunday January 26), by the FCM, will inevitably be followed with interest in a derby that will be worth the detour!
