Atalanta are unbeaten in 14 games in Serie A (11W, 3D) and only once in their history have they reached 15 consecutive matches without defeat in a single top-flight championship: in 2019/20 (17 in that case).

After the draws against Lazio and Udinese, Atalanta could impact three games in a row in Serie A for only the second time under Gasperini’s management, after the April-May 2017 period (vs Juventus, Udinese and Milan).

If they were to beat Juventus, Atalanta could equal their record of consecutive home wins in Serie A: seven, as has already happened on five occasions – three times with Gian Piero Gasperini (between 2020 and 2024), once with Paolo Tabanelli in 1968 and one with Ivo Fiorentini in 1948.

Atalanta have found the net in each of their last 24 home games in Serie A (62 goals in total, 2.6 per game), already a record for the Bergamo team in front of their own fans. The last time the Nerazzurri team did not score in a home match in the top division dates back to 1 October 2023, against Juventus (0-0 draw).

Only Inter (31) boasts a longer open streak of home matches with at least one goal scored in Serie A than Atalanta (24). In particular, he has scored at least two goals in each of the last 13 Serie A home matches (36 goals in the set, an average of 2.8 per match): only one team has managed to score two or more goals in multiple home matches in a row in the last 60 years in the competition, Alberto Zaccheroni’s Milan, between 1999 and 2000 (series reached 15).

Juventus have not lost in 27 Serie A games (9W, 18D), for the Bianconeri it is the longest unbeaten streak in the league since the period between April 2018 and March 2019 (31 in that case, but with only four draws).

After a 1-1 draw in the derby against Torino, Juventus became the second team to draw at least 12 of their first 19 games in a Serie A season in the three-points-for-a-win era, after Inter in 2004/05 (13) – the Nerazzurri also drew the following match.

Juventus won only seven of their first 19 Serie A games of the season for the second time in the three points per win era, after 1998/99, a season which ended in seventh place, with Marcello Lippi on the bench in the first 20 games, then replaced by Carlo Ancelotti – in that year a defeat came in the 20th match.

Juventus have drawn nine of the 13 away games played in Serie A from last April to today: an absolute record of draws away from home in the top five European leagues in the period.

Juventus have collected 33 points so far, while in the last championship after 19 games they had 46 points; in the three-point era only twice did the bianconeri worsen their score more than the previous year at the same point of the season: 15 points less in 2007/08, upon returning from Serie B, compared to 2005/06, and 17 between 1998/99 and 1997/98.

PLAYER FOCUS

Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic has scored five goals in his last four Serie A appearances against Atalanta (including two braces with the Fiorentina shirt): since his first goal against the Bergamo team in April 2021, he is the player who has scored the most goals against this opponent in the competition (five, in fact).

Kenan Yildiz has scored three of his four goals away from home this season and overall five of his six goals in Serie A have come away; after the goal in the derby against Torino, he could score in two consecutive appearances in the top flight for the first time.

Kenan Yildiz boasts six goals and four assists in all competitions 2024/25: among the players of the teams of the top five European tournaments who have actively participated in at least 10 goals in all competitions, only Lamine Yamal (19 participations) is younger than Juventus’ Turkish number 10.

Teun Koopmeiners’ first three seasons with a club from Europe’s top five leagues were with Atalanta, between 2021/22 and 2023/24: the Dutchman played 129 games in all competitions for the Dea, scoring 29 goals – fewer goals only than Lorenzo Pellegrini (32) in the period in official matches among Serie A midfielders.

As of the start of the 2024 calendar year, Teun Koopmeiners is one of the two midfielders (along with Davide Frattesi) to reach double figures in active away participations in Serie A: seven goals and three assists, including two winning passes in last three away matches.

Andrea Cambiaso has already scored a goal against Atalanta in Serie A, in the 2-2 draw between the Bianconeri and the Nerazzurri on 10 March (Arkadiusz Milik and Teun Koopmeiners also scored, who scored a brace with the Dea shirt). However, the class of 2000 has never beaten the Bergamo team on the four occasions in which they have faced them in the championship (3D, 1P).

Nicolás González has already been involved in three goals against Atalanta in Serie A (one goal and two assists) and only against Sassuolo (four goals) does he boast more active participations in the Italian top flight.

Starting against Torino, Douglas Luiz has never played two official matches in a row from the 1st minute with Juventus (three starts in total); the Brazilian has no active participation in 14 total appearances for the black and white, while after the same number of matches in all competitions with Aston Villa in 2023/24 he had six involvements under his belt (six goals).

Francisco Conceição – still a strong doubt for this match – has provided three assists so far in 13 appearances in this Serie A; considering the 10 major international tournaments, only in the last season with Porto (2023/24) did the Portuguese born in 2002 record more winning passes in the championship (four but in 27 matches).

Among the players who have scored more than one goal and provided more than one assist in this championship, only Nico Paz (3G+3A – 8 September 2004), Santiago Castro (4G+4A – 18 September 2004) and Kenan Yildiz (4G+ 2A – 2005) are younger than Samuel Mbangula (2G+2A – September 2004).

Among defenders born from 01/01/2001 onwards, only Patrick Dorgu (four) took part in more goals than Nicolò Savona in the 2024/25 Serie A (three – like Jackson Tchatchoua – the result of two goals and an assist) .

When he wore the Genoa shirt, Mattia Perin played 88 Serie A matches under the technical guidance of Gian Piero Gasperini: the Dea coach is the coach with whom the Juventus goalkeeper played the most matches and recorded the most clean sheets ( 23) in his career in the top Italian league.
