Marche-en-Famenne: municipal workers adapt to the extreme cold

-15.5 degrees! This is the temperature recorded in Elsenborn (in the province of Liège), during the night from Monday to Tuesday, the coldest night of this winter, at least so far.

In several regions of the country, such as in the province of Luxembourg, this current cold snap often complicates the task of outdoor workers. Example in Marche-en-Famenne, where this Tuesday morning, the thermometer still showed -6 degrees.

Despite these somewhat harsher weather conditions, municipal workers responsible for dismantling Christmas decorations or cleaning the roads seem to be adapting.

Other workers, such as roofers and postmen, know that these cold snaps are part of the risks of the job. A cold snap which, that said, is not really exceptional in this season.
