Between 13,000 and 15,000 fans are expected in Flachau (Pongau) from today, Monday, for the “Star Challenge” and the women’s World Cup slalom taking place on Tuesday. Anyone traveling by car must be prepared for delays, Asfinag said in a press release.
As usual, the volume of traffic is likely to be enormous, especially on the Tauern Autobahn (A10). According to the traffic forecast, this could start from the Salzburg junction in the south direction. On the section to Flachau, delays are expected during arrival and departure times on both days.
