Dalin is only 210 kilometers from the finish

Leader of the 10th edition of the Vendée Globe, Charlie Dalin is on target since the Norman sailor was less than 210 kilometers from the finish in Les Sables d'Olonne, at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.

Now off the coast of Brittany, 113 miles from the goal, Dalin (Macif) has slightly lost his lead over his great rival Yoann Richomme (Paprec Arkéa), who is again 99 miles away.

This gap should however stagnate a little because the Norman entered a little earlier than his opponent in a weak wind zone – he was sailing at the end of the evening around 9 knots – which Richomme – still at 15 knots – will not be able to avoid in the coming hours. On the organizers' side, it is estimated that Dalin could cross the line between 5:30 and 7:30 a.m., followed at the end of the afternoon by his first pursuer.

In this non-stop solo round-the-world trip that began on November 10, 2024, the third, Sébastien Simon, is 930 miles behind the leader. It is currently off the Azores.
