Winner of Saint-Etienne on Sunday evening (2-1), PSG obtained their 13th victory of the season in Ligue 1 and completed the first leg of the championship with 7 points ahead of their runner-up Marseille. With a very high average points per match, Luis Enrique's PSG 24/25 even had one of the best half-seasons of the QSI era in Ligue 1.
PSG did not have its best match of the season on Sunday against ASSE (2-1), but ensured the essentials in terms of accounting by taking the three points and regaining a seven-unit lead over the OM, who won 2-1 in Rennes on Saturday evening. This victory against the Greens, the 13th of the season in Ligue 1, allows PSG to complete the first leg of the championship with 43 points.
In detail, PSG have won 13 matches and conceded 4 draws and remain undefeated in the league at the halfway point. The goal difference is largely positive (+31) with 46 goals scored (best attack ahead of OM and its 39 goals scored) and 15 conceded (best defense ahead of Lille, which conceded 16 goals).

Compared to Luis Enrique's year I at PSG, the 2024/2025 team is doing better since it has still not lost and has three points more than last season after 17 days. PSG have also scored four more goals in Ligue 1 this season at the halfway point compared to last season and have simply conceded one more goal.
To judge this first part of Luis Enrique's 2024/2025 PSG season on the QSI scale, we calculated the average points taken per match by PSG since 2011/2012 at mid-term, knowing that Ligue 1 is increased to 18 clubs since last season.
The first half of the season under Tuchel remains the best of the QSI era in Ligue 1
With 2.52 points taken per game on average this season in Ligue 1, Luis Enrique's PSG of Year II achieved the fourth best first part of the season in the QSI era, the best in terms of accounting remaining that under Thomas Tuchel during the 2018/2019 season.
PSG was also undefeated at the halfway point after 19 days and had an incredible points average of 2.78 points. Following the cruel elimination in the Champions League against Manchester United on March 6, 2019, PSG 18/19 had however completely relaxed in Ligue 1 and had conceded 4 defeats at the end of the season (in addition to the one conceded in February against OL).
