At altitude, in ski resorts and other mountain towns, according to the specialist site Meteociel.fr, some -19.8°C was recorded in Tignes (73), -19.2°C in Villar-d'Arène (05), -18.7°C in Bessans-Clim (73), -16.8°C in Chamonix and -15.4°C in Val-d'Isère (73).
