First episode of ‘Now or Never’ on Saturday 11 January and first verdicts. The musical talent show hosted by Marco Liorni and broadcast every Saturday in prime time on Raiuno, it saw the eight competitors and their coaches compete. In the first part of the evening the eight competitors – Valerio Scanu, Matteo Amantia, Loredana Errore, Pierdavide Carone, Antonella Bucci, Carlotta, Anonino Italiano and Pago – they presented their story and performed their most representative song. In the second each competitor sang a song by their coach together with the coach himself.

In the second part of the first episode of ‘Now or Never’, here are the performances of the competitors together with their respective coaches. Pago and Patty Pravo with ‘Pensiero stupendo’ they total 53 points awarded by the jury. Then it’s up to Valerio Scanu and Rita Pavone with ‘Give me a hammer’: the eight coaches give 51 points to this pairing. Third duo in the race: Matteo Amantia with Alex Brittie ‘Today it’s me’: 61 points for them, with also the 10 of an irrepressible Donatella Rettore. Then it’s up to Pierdavide Carone and Gigliola Cinquetti with ‘God how I love you’. Their duet totals 57 points. Fifth couple in the race: Rector and Carlotta with ‘Chimica’ by Rettore herself and Ditonellapiaga. The jury awards them 55 points. They then sing Loredana Errore and Marco Masini with ‘You’ll fall in love’. The total score for them is 54 points. Second to last to perform: Antonella Bucci and Raf with ‘Two’. The jury awards them 60 points. They close the race Anonymous Italiano and Riccardo Fogli with ‘Stories of every day’. The total score for them is 53 points.

The jury’s vote was then added to the televoting vote. Here it is Ranking of the first episode of ‘Now or Never’. A win the night was Matteo Amantiaahead of Pierdavide Carone, Antonella Bucci, Carlotta, Pago, Loredana Errore, Anonimo Italiano and Valerio Scanu.
