Brisbane International runner up Reilly Opelka has dropped the first set to qualifier Gauthier Onclin 6-3.
Opelka, the 211cm giant American who stunned Novak Djokovic in Brisbane, struggled with injury in both the semifinal and the final at the Queensland Tennis Centre.
The final only lasted 13 minutes or so in Brisbane, and perhaps he’s still struggling a little with form.
Opelka has had so many injury issues over the past few years, so it is good to see him playing again.
