Larcher (LR) wants “neither suspension nor repeal” of the pension reform

The President of the Senate, Gérard Larcher, does not want “neither suspension nor abrogation” of pension reform, he says in an interview with Parisian this Saturday, while Prime Minister François Bayrou will deliver his general policy declaration on Tuesday January 14, and could make a gesture towards the left on this reform.

“The message is clear: neither suspension nor repeal! On Tuesday, the Prime Minister will make the choice. In the Senate, I will not conduct a suspension or repeal procedure“, says the LR manager, who warns: “participation (in government) does not mean renunciation“.
