The special 3 million week on “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” is coming to an end.

On Thursday, Jeanette Eckert sat down with Günther Jauch. The nutritionist won 32,000 euros in her round and made it to the final on Friday.

Things get tricky for them (and probably many viewers at home too…) when it comes to the 2,000 euro question. This is what Jauch wanted to know from the candidate:

A nasty question for all non-math afficionados, Eckert also struggles, at first he thinks that answer A is correct, Jauch grimaces.

“I have a tendency, but I’m currently on the fence,” says Eckert. She tries to come up with the right solution in her head, does the math – and then comes up with the number 1,100,000. Only: This answer is not available at all.

So go through the question again, Jauch helps a little, then the penny drops. Or not quite, because Eckert ultimately decides on the audience joker.

The audience’s answer is clear, 85 percent give D as the solution, i.e. 333,000,000. And the audience turns out to be right, Eckert chooses D and can continue playing.

But it ends at 32,000 euros; Eckert now has the chance to win the big jackpot in the final on Friday.

And how far would you have gotten? Play the quiz and find out!
