RTL makes it official: “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” is the undisputed winner on Wednesday evening (September 4th)!
With another special broadcast, the quiz show received a great response of 15.3 percent from 0.58 million guessers from the target group, according to “Quotenmeter.de”. Overall, “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” was also at the top of the field. There were 3.13 million switches at a great 17.1 percent.

In second place was the first, where, among others, the Paralympic long jumpers and swimmers took part and picked up up to 2.37 million with a corresponding total market share of 10.5 percent. Among 14 to 49 year olds, they were on par with ProSieben and Sat.1 with up to 11.2 percent (0.52 million).

ZDF settled for third place in terms of overall audience with “XY history”. 2.09 million people were interested in looking back at the very first murder detective in Germany. They enabled the reboot to achieve a moderate market share of 9.4 percent, which is surprisingly well below the response to regular file number search programs.
In the red seven, “TV Total” was able to recover somewhat from last week’s crash and achieved a better 11.4 percent at 0.51 million, but this still does not come close to previous excellent values. With a total reach of 0.86 million (3.8 percent), Pufpaff again played no role in the other category.
Things looked a little better over at Sat.1, where the second episode of “Big Baking” did okay overall with 1.23 million (6.0 percent). The target group yield, on the other hand, was able to turn into a more positive area again – this time 10.5 percent at 0.45 million were on the clock and were clearly above the channel average.
