A puppy has left the internet in stitches for how many times he sits on his big brother throughout the day.
The dog pawrent, who uses the social media tag @tony.and.trevor, shared how the puppy, Trevor, repeatedly mounts Tony—a total of seven times. The hysterical footage garnered 14,600 likes and 329,000 views.
“Where did Trevor the Terror get his name from? Let me show you…” the owner captioned the post.
The video shows a montage of the Bernese mountain dog puppy climbing on his older brother of the same breed. First, he crawls over him as he lies in the lounge. Next, he lies peacefully on top of him in the garden.
Next, he is caught in the act gently resting his head and nestling into his brother, but soon after, he’s back in the garden climbing onto his big brother, leading him to roll over.
Later, Trevor climbs on top of Tony to smother him in kisses, followed by an adorable scene in the kitchen where Trevor lies atop Tony once again. Finally, the video captures Trevor standing on his hind legs to hug his brother with his front paws.
Bernese mountain dogs are known for their calm, affectionate, and good-natured temperament. These large, powerful dogs were originally bred in Switzerland as working dogs to pull carts and herd cattle. They are beloved for their loyalty, intelligence, and ability to form strong bonds with their families. Despite their size, they are gentle giants, often described as patient and particularly good with children.
As for Trevor’s antics, puppies often sit on or climb over other dogs as a way of engaging in playful behavior or establishing social interaction. This behavior is typically harmless and is most common during their “puppy license” phase when older dogs tolerate their youthful energy and curiosity.
Sometimes, it can also be a way for a puppy to seek comfort, warmth, or affection.
