Contemporary music comes to for the 10th edition of the Autres Mesures festival. From jazz to electro, from experimental to acoustic concerts… Autresmeasures lets contemporary music be heard in all its diversity. The concerts take place mainly in the city center but also at the Frac in Beauregard and at the Antipode in Cleunay. From Friday January 10 to Sunday February 2.

From Wednesday January 8 to Sunday January 12. The Rennes group of Amnesty International questions the defense of human rights and proposes to imagine together, through cinema: “What justice for tomorrow? » On the program, five evenings to watch documentaries and debate with directors, lawyers and even activists for the climate or access to education. Meet in the dark rooms of TNB, Arvor and Le Sévigné cinema.

Winter gardens, from January 31 to February 2. A highlight of the Champs Libres, the Jardins d'hiver festival aims to bring its participants together around literature. Because there are as many readers as there are ways of reading, this year the festival is opening up to new literary horizons. Essays, manga, fantasy, comics or poetry, on the last weekend of January everyone can come and discuss their connection to reading.

    Time to play! The event, to which entry is free, is the ideal opportunity to test the latest fun publications and meet the authors and publishers. Numerous tournaments are organized during the weekend as well as conferences around developments in the sector and its challenges. At the convention center, from Saturday January 1 to Sunday February 2.

Who doesn't dream of touching a marble in the museum, of understanding the movements of the brush by touching a canvas. Until then, it was forbidden and the children know it well! Since the end of November, we can break the rules at the Museum of Fine Arts in Rennes with the exhibition entitled Prière de Toucher. This initiative, developed with visually impaired people, raises awareness of otherness as much as it entertains visitors who happily take part in the game by discovering the installation blindfolded.
