In the New Year’s gala of “Joko & Klaas against ProSieben” on January 1, 2025, Joko Winterscheidt and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf won against their employer and won a very special prize.
Joko and Klaas are allowed to rename ProSieben according to their wishes for a whole week. The desired name is: ProAcht.

ProAcht officially launched on January 2, 2025 at prime time after a short-term program change. Eight minutes after 8, i.e. at 8:08 p.m., Joko and Klaas quickly took over the current ProSieben program.
But instead of the 15 minutes of live broadcast time, as is usually seen after winning editions of “Joko & Klaas vs. ProSieben”, this time the two entertainers presented a short special program about the renaming of the station.
At 8:20 p.m. the presenter duo pressed the start button in the broadcast center – ProAcht has been on the air live since then.

ProAcht: More than just a logo change
The change to the new station name will take place within the campaign week with all visible and invisible consequences, according to the official press release on the successful launch of ProAcht.
“The renaming to ProAcht is a mammoth project for our entire station,” explains ProAcht station manager Hannes Hiller.
“All programs that will be broadcast within the week were screened in advance and dubbed with ProAcht. All trailers, advertising dividers, station IDs, microphone protectors, legal notice boards as well as our online channels and press pages are now adapted to ProAcht.”
In addition, the name change does not only affect linear TV broadcasting.
“You can find the ProAcht live stream and the media library on Joyn. Our presenters welcome the audience to all the shows and magazines on ProAcht – from ‘taff’ to ‘Galileo’ to ‘TV total Promi-Wrestling’. We have the website proacht.de, email addresses and even a ProAcht teletext. Our entire team has made adjustments down to the smallest detail and is living ProAcht this week,” says the station boss out of.

Will ProSieben be called ProAcht forever?
ProAcht will be on air from now until after the broadcast of “TV total” on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at 8:15 p.m.
The name is then renamed again back to the original name of the station.
