Since December 31, Radiodiffusion Télévision Sénégalaise (RTS) has been going through an internal crisis. And for good reason: Pape Alé Niang, its general director, suspended several agent and service provider contracts, in Dakar and in certain regions, causing deep unease.
According to a Seneweb source, the radio leaders were ordered to transmit the message to the agents concerned, while some were setting up their elements.
Some suspended agents, close to a permanent contract (CDI), see their future postponed, because their files will not be examined until June.
These measures, deemed “abrupt” by certain unionists, fuel criticism within the editorial staff, already marked by similar dismissals last June.
-For more information, Seneweb tried to contact the general director of RTS, Pape Alé Niang, without success.
