Dayle Haddon, model and actress from the ’70s through the ’90s, died at the age of 76 due to a suspected carbon monoxide leak in a Pennsylvania home, according to CBS News. The incident occurred on a Friday morning, with authorities discovering Haddon deceased in a second-floor bedroom after responding to a distress call about another individual in the same house. Preliminary investigations attribute the leak to a malfunctioning heating unit.
Haddon’s career started in modeling, propelling her to international fame, before she ventured into acting. Born on May 26, 1948, in Toronto, her filmography includes over 25 credits, with notable roles in films like “North Dallas Forty” and “Bullets Over Broadway.” Beyond the camera, she is also known for her humanitarian work, founded WomenOne and served as a UNICEF ambassador.
