In La Motte, in Côtes-d'Armor, the mayor has issued a more than unusual decree: he authorizes Santa Claus to fly over the territory of his commune on December 24 and 25.

With the airspace clear, all the conditions are there to welcome Santa Claus and his elves to this commune in Côtes-d'Armor. In La Motte, near Loudéac, the legendary character distributed the gifts well. An operation partly successful thanks to Henri Flageul, who is none other than the mayor of the town.
“The decree includes eight articles, the first of which authorizes Santa Claus to fly over and land in the town to leave gifts at the foot of the trees.“, describes the councilor, for whom the security of the distribution of gifts in the municipal territory is a priority.

Still as fanciful, the decree only authorizes a maximum presence of six elves, no more, and warns: “no appeal may be made against this order before the Administrative Court or any other terrestrial or celestial jurisdiction.“The stadium is reserved for parking.”exceptional” of Santa's seven reindeer.
At the entrance to the town hall, a box dedicated to letters for Santa Claus has been installed.

An obviously symbolic municipal decree, published on December 16, which the mayor justifies with the “magic“Christmas allowing families to get together.”Everyone believes in Santa Claus, even the adults!“, adds Henri Flageul.
Paulette, grandmother motterious, with a child's heart still intact, can only confirm the mayor's words: “Sometimes, when we're adults, we like to believe in Santa Claus a little more!“, she laughed, getting ready to unwrap one of her gifts.
Paulette surrounded herself with her eight grandchildren to receive presents from Santa Claus this year.

Unfortunately, a thick fog covered the sky of Central Brittany until the end of the morning, no citizen was able to observe Santa Claus flying over the town.
