Four intrepid ten-year-olds live on a peaceful, ultra-modern planet filled with droids, vehicles and wheelless bikes. The children are rebellious and adventurous, one of whom is a shy little elephant on one leg. They will, by the greatest chance, find themselves thrown because of a ship that they discovered in the galaxy. On board, they team up with a droid and soon with a Jedi played by actor Jude Law.

Skeletton Crewthis new series in eight episodes, smells of the atmosphere of Steven Spielberg's films. The children are lost in the universe and trying to get home. They dive into a different planet each episode.

For John Watts, the co-author, the idea was really to make a series for children: “what gave me the inspiration for the series was that feeling of being a ten year old kid walking around and hoping to stumble upon some sort of adventure. In the movies we grew up with, we find buried pirate treasure or get abducted by aliens. This is what I always hoped would happen to me and I wanted to turn this into a series where a group of children yearn for adventure and find themselves sucked into the galaxy of the War of the stars”.

“I hope people who have seen a lot of Star Wars remember the first time they saw Star Wars.”

Christopher Ford, the other author, says a little more: “the series takes place during the time when the New Republic is trying to establish a better galaxy for everyone. It was felt that this period where children are lost in the galaxy is the ideal time for the series, because there isn't necessarily a big powerful force to save them, whether it's the Old Republic or even the Empire. . They get lost and therefore come across pirates. It's a bit like a time without faith or law“.

While the series includes eight episodes broadcast since December 3,The fifth episode will be released on December 25 on Disney.
