Clara Luciani takes her first steps as an actress in “Joli Joli”

The singer of Everything for me stars in this musical, written by Diastème and carried by songs by Alex Beaupain and a three-star cast.

New challenge for Clara Luciani. The young star of French song takes her first steps in the cinema in Pretty Prettya musical comedy by Diastème to be discovered in theaters this Wednesday, December 25.

The singer of Everything for me plays Léonore Alister, a young film star who crosses paths with a broke writer. From to Rome, the two protagonists search for each other, trying to overcome the small and large obstacles that prevent their reunion.

Prestigious distribution

A first cinematic experience in which she shares the bill with a three-star cast: José Garcia, Vincent Dedienne, Victor Belmondo, William Leghbil and Laura Felpin, the new face of French humor, who conversely tries her hand at first time singing.

“I was afraid of acting, because it’s really not my thing,” Clara Luciani told BFMTV, sitting next to Laura Felpin, a few days ago. “And then it wasn’t super (right), because Laura sings really well.”

“You knew you had a crazy voice!”, she said to her colleague, who immediately contradicted her: “When I found myself in a recording studio, I didn't act like that at all. clever! I like to sing, but at home!”

Alex Beaupain at the helm

The creation of the songs performed by the characters of Pretty Pretty was entrusted to singer Alex Beaupain, who has already taken part in the exercise to Love Songs or The Belovedby Christophe Honoré. He also wrote and composed songs for Julien Clerc and Calogero.

“For (Clara Luciani), I think it took two hours to record what she had to record,” Laura Felpin joked. “I spent 19 hours with Alex who said to me, 'But can't you hear that it's an F?'.

The release of Pretty Pretty marks the end of a rich year for Clara Luciani, after the release of a third album entitled My Sang in mid-November. A record that she will defend on tour throughout 2025. As part of this singing tour, the singer of The rest will perform twice at the Accor Arena, on March 6 and 7.
