Tours among the smallest competing teams
Following administrative demotions, Tours, still in Ligue 2 six years ago, in Regional 1 this season, is one of the smallest teams still competing in the Coupe de France. Only Mérignac, eliminated on penalties by Laval (L2) on Friday and Still-Mutzig who faces Reims (L1) on Sunday, have also reached this stage of the competition which sees Ligue 1 clubs making their entry.
