What will happen next with his role in season 2?

Daniel Scholz played the role of Paul Menke in a total of 81 episodes in the first season of “Spreewaldklinik”. The first season was characterized by numerous ups and downs for his character. But what does season 2 have in store for the family man? In an exclusive interview, Daniel told us what he could imagine for Paul in the new season.

This is how season 1 of “The Spreewald Clinic” ends for Paul

Paul Menke tried for a long time to keep his big secret from his daughter Nico (Isabel Hinz). But in the final episode of the first season, Nico finally finds out that her father has been lying to her for years: her biological mother is not Paul's partner Doreen (Jessica Walther-Gabory), as assumed, but Dr. Lea Wolff (Sina-Valeska Jung). Lea confesses to her daughter in a letter that it was with a heavy heart that she had to give her up for adoption when she was a teenager. How Nico reacts to this news will be seen in season 2.

What awaits Paul Menke in season 2?

What happens next with Nico's father Paul also remains to be seen. Daniel Scholz already has some ideas about what could await his character in the second season. “The end is definitely prepared in such a way that anything is possible for Paul. For example, he could have an extreme fall. I would find that very exciting,” says Daniel in an exclusive interview. He further explains: “Anything that could happen to this character would, I think, be understandable. So it wouldn't be like, 'What's wrong with him?'

Whether and how his character will develop further in season 2 remains to be seen. So far, no information is known about the plot of the new season.
