No last name“he blurted. The student, who grew up in Vendée, therefore intends to preserve his private life despite his dazzling notoriety.
Emilien “overwhelmed” by his winnings in Les 12 coups de midi
This former Crous scholarship holder also seems to be somewhat “overwhelmed” by all this money. He has accumulated a nice sum of money since the start of his adventure in the TF1 game.
“It’s complicated to materialize such an immense sum,
it’s beyond me“, he confided. The 22-year-old then explained: “We have a little more fun in the restaurant, we think less when we go shopping.”
But he had difficulty getting used to this idea. “It was difficult to say to yourself, ‘It’s okay, there are no more problems’,” he added.
Despite the situation, Emilien prefers to keep his feet on the ground: “I have always been careful and estimated the value of money. So I’m not more of a spender than before.” he said. Moreover, he called on his mother to manage the resale of the gifts he received since the start of his participation in the show. In total, he won sixteen cars, cell phones and electronic devices, decorative items, household appliances and even trips.
“This experience will remain a superb memory”
Now a millionaire, Emilien is however aware that everything can stop overnight. He nevertheless specified that he had lived “extraordinary things and that this experience will remain a superb memory.”
Concerning his great success, Jean-Luc Reichmann confided during his appearance in Culture Médias: “He came at the age of 20, he is 22. It is unbreakablebut it is totally justified by 95% of the population who watch TV. There are always 5% of slanderers”he concluded.
