The directorate stated, in a warning bulletin at an “orange” alert level, that snowfalls measuring between 10 and 40 cm will affect the prefectures and provinces of Azilal, Al Haouz, Midelt, Ouarzazate and Taroudant, from eight o’clock in the morning on Saturday until midday on Sunday.
The General Directorate of Meteorology also expected, tomorrow, Saturday, that the weather will remain relatively cold, accompanied by local frost, over the highlands of the Great and Mediterranean Atlantic and the southern eastern region, during the morning and night.
The sky is also expected to be cloudy with weak rain in some regions of the west, Shawia, eastern regions, and the Mediterranean front. Strong winds will blow in the Tangier region, the central coast, and within the southern regions of the Kingdom. Minimum temperatures will range between minus 01 and 05 degrees in the Atlas Highlands and the eastern high plateaus, and between 04 and 10 degrees in the Phosphate Plateaus, the Diamonds, the Rif, the eastern region, the southeast, and the interior of Souss, and it will be between 10 and 16 degrees in the rest of the Kingdom. .
