The 32nd finals of the Coupe de France before Christmas? “We have to adapt to new competitions,” explains the FFF

When did you make this decision?
Once UEFA has set its dates, we always work in consultation with the League on the calendar for the coming season and we adopt it almost a year in advance. We must adapt to the new competitions because our discussions focus on the boxes that remain. There, these choices were validated during the FFF Executive Committee on December 15, 2023. Putting the 32nd before Christmas constituted a solution, for us and the LFP. But if matches cannot take place because of the weather, they cannot take place before the resumption due to the holidays.
