The Royal Army and Wydad Athletic Club tied with two goals for each other in an exciting match held this Thursday evening on the field of the municipal stadium in Kenitra, within the postponed round 13 of the professional league.
The Royal Army entered the match strongly, scoring the first goal early in the fourth minute through its captain, Mohamed Rabie Harimat. Wydad did not delay in responding, as they equalized the score in the 14th minute through Osama Al-Zamrawi, who took advantage of an accurate pass from his South African colleague Kaissus Mailola.
The excitement continued quickly, as Mohamed Al-Raihi was able to add the second goal for Wydad in the 18th minute, after an organized counterattack by the players of the Casablanca team.
In the second half, the Royal Army showed great determination to return the result, and succeeded in achieving an equalizer through Youssef Al-Fahli in the 49th minute, benefiting from a fatal mistake committed by Wydad goalkeeper Youssef Motie.
The match was also tense in the 74th minute, when Wydad defender Abdel Moneim Boutouil received a red card after coming into contact with Royal Congolese Army defender Enunga.
