The Government Council, held today, Thursday, under the chairmanship of Aziz Akhannouch, approved, after deliberation, the draft Decree No. 2.24.1096 relating to the “Statutes for the Prison Administration and Reintegration Staff Authority”, which was presented by Amal Al-Falah, Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister in charge of digital transition and administration reform. .

Three draft decrees

After that, the Government Council deliberated and approved three draft decrees, “in which the raised observations were taken into account,” which were also presented by Amal Al-Falah, the Minister Delegate in charge of digital transition and administrative reform.

The first draft Decree No. 2.24.522 amends and supplements Decree No. 2.22.385 issued on Shawwal 17, 1444 (May 8, 2023), updating “the list of administrative decisions necessary to complete investment projects for which the deadline for processing and delivering related applications does not exceed 30 days.”

The communication stressed that this text comes “within the framework of updating the administrative decisions listed in the annex to Decree No. 2.22.385, which are the administrative decisions necessary to complete investment projects within the period specified as 30 days.” The project also includes new provisions that take into account the requirements of Law No. 83.21 related to regional multi-service companies and the regulatory texts associated with it, especially with regard to administrative decisions related to the National Office of Electricity and Potable Water – the electricity sector.

The government also approved draft Decree No. 2.24.523, which amends and supplements Decree No. 2.22.386 of Shawwal 17, 1444 (May 8, 2023), relating to “specifying the list of administrative decisions for which the processing of applications requires extending the legal deadline for their delivery, in order to Performing technical expertise or general research.

The last project, No. 2.24.524, relates to amending and supplementing Decree No. 2.22.387, issued on Shawwal 17, 1444 (May 8, 2023), stipulating “specifying the list of administrative decisions regarding which the administration’s silence, after the expiry of the specified period for processing applications, shall be considered as approval.” “. The project aims to update the list of administrative decisions included in the annex to Decree No. 2.22.387, in line with this change.

Two projects were postponed for deeper study

According to the communication, the Government Council decided to postpone consideration of two draft decrees to a later government meeting for further study. They are:

Draft Decree No. 2.24.730 relating to the establishment of the Regional Directorate for Tourism, Handicrafts, Social and Solidarity Economy, Youth, Culture and Communication and defining its competencies and organization.
Draft Decree No. 2.24.731 regarding the establishment of the Regional Directorate for Trade, Industrial and Extractive Production and Economic Integration and defining its competencies and organization.
