This ranking has been a topic of conversation for 25 years: GlücksPost has published the list of the 100 most beautiful in Switzerland. For once, SRF presenter Mona Vetsch (49) is not in the middle, but at the forefront. The magazine already named her the best presenter in the country in the summer, and now she’s doing more. “Watching her is always a pleasure,” explains the editorial team, praising the Thurgau woman’s empathetic nature. The popularity of Vetsch also speaks for itself: Although SRF has to save money at the moment, its ratings hit “Mona Mittendrin” will be further expanded next year.
The runner-up, pop star Beatrice Egli (36), can also look back on a successful year: In addition to her own show, the Schwyzer native was also seen on “DSDS”. Egli returned to her roots – “and showed a lot of empathy for the candidates”.
Maja Brunner (73) made it to third place. There is no stopping her because even at 73 years old she is still on stage almost every day. GlücksPost also praises how openly the actress talks about how she avoids becoming lonely as a single woman. “Such openness makes her a role model for many.”
SRF presenter Fabienne Gyr (36), who was able to secure victory last year, came in fourth place. But: The Central Swiss woman has several highlights coming up in the next few weeks. It takes you through the big “Samschtig-Jass” anniversary and the “Sports Awards”. In fifth place is ski star Lara Gut-Behrami (33), who is actually used to winning.
Odermatt scores with its down-to-earth attitude
Another ski star, however, prevails among the men: Marco Odermatt (27) is the most beautiful Swiss man of the year! “No athlete gave us more jumps of joy last season than the high-flyer from the canton of Nidwalden,” writes the magazine. And praises how down-to-earth the athlete is despite his success.
Behind him is Röbi Koller (67), someone who will be retiring from TV next year. Because in spring he will host his heartfelt show “Happy Day” for the last time. “And we will miss him,” writes the GlücksPost editorial team. The footsteps that his successor, Nik Hartmann (52, 30th place) is following are big.
Claudio Zuccolini (54) is new – and he comes straight into third place. Who, in addition to 25 years of marriage, couldn’t be happier professionally: With his new entertainment show “What makes Switzerland tick?” he conquers Saturday evening. The conclusion: “The show with Zucco hits the nerve of the SRF audience – his Graubünden down-to-earth attitude is well received.”
Ex-Nati goalkeeper Yann Sommer (36) ends up in fourth place. Another newcomer, wrestler Fabian Staudenmann (24), took fifth place.
The entire ranking is available in the new GlücksPost!
