ENTERTAINMENT – Who will succeed Mega Unity, big winner of season 18? This Wednesday, December 18, M6 broadcast the semi-final of LFAUIT season 19. After a second number (or 3rd for those who participated in the quarter-finals), in front of the public, the jurors and the viewers, nine candidates or groups of candidates were chosen. They will have a final chance to convince, this Friday, December 20 during the live final.

Hélène Ségara, Marianne James, Sugar Sammy and Eric Antoine had the difficult task of deciding between the 14 candidates present during the semi-final: the seven numbers having obtained the golden buzzers from the jury, Karine Le Marchand, Élodie Poux and Booder as well as seven others, saved after their performances in the quarter-final.

The nine candidates saved after the semi-final

After watching the numbers, the jurors met away from the cameras to deliberate. Among all the “golden buzzed” semi-finalists, not all were saved. The jury in fact kept five, to which were added four numbers deemed exceptional.

The dance troupe put together by Romain Rachline Borgeaud, ex-candidate of season 13, will be in the final. They had obtained the golden buzzer from Karine Le Marchand during the auditions.

The pair of Ukrainian origin once again amazed the jurors with a choreography combining roller skating, suspension and acrobatics.

The Canadian dancer, Élodie Poux’s golden buzzer, was the last to appear before the jury during the semi-final. His contemporary choreography and his interpretation once again won over the jurors.

The singer suffering from Gilles de la Tourette syndrome convinced the jurors to grant him a ticket to the final with a new song that he wrote and composed himself.

The magician proposed a stunning 3rd number mixing technology and mentalism. Golden buzzed by Booder during the quarter-finals, he will perhaps be the 2nd magician to win the show after Antonio in season 11.

The American drag queen performed a new operatic aria coupled with a moving drag performance that left the jurors in tears. As a reminder, no drag act has yet won the show.

With a new aerial number combining hair suspension and contortion, the artist obtained the opportunity to present a 3rd performance during the live final.

The dance group made up of synchronized swimmers proposed a new choreography deemed captivating by the jurors, once again using inversion stools.

It was with a third humorous number centered on disability that Mathieu Nina convinced the jurors to grant him a place in the final.

These nine candidates join the very first finalist of this 19th season, the Hakuna Matata troupe which received the Platinum Buzzer. Who will succeed Salah, Simon Heule, Jean-Baptiste Guégan, Laura Laune, La Famille Lefèvre or even Rayane? The last evening of France has incredible talent will be broadcast live on M6 from 9:10 p.m. on Friday December 20. It is the viewers who will elect the winner of the title and the check for 100,000 euros.
