In the morning it rains heavily on the foothills of the Jura and the Alps with snow around 1800 meters. The weather is overcast with a few drops from Occitanie to the Grand-Est and the rains are much heavier from Nouvelle-Aquitaine to the Grand-Est. At the back the clearings return but alternate with showers and strong gusts. Near the Mediterranean, the sky remains cloudy but without precipitation.

The disturbance stretches from the Pyrenees to Alsace with heavy rain and snow at increasingly lower latitudes as the hours pass. Over a large northwest quarter, the trailing sky prevails with numerous showers and strong winds, especially on the Channel coasts. Near the Mediterranean, the sky is variable but the mistral and tramontane strengthen each other.

A mistral and tramontane storm begins in the Mediterranean. The snow drops from 600 to 800 meters on the massifs. The weather is drier and the sky is clear in the northwest quarter

On Friday, the weather will dry out significantly with still stormy winds in the Mediterranean. Showers will return in the afternoon across the Channel.
