  • The Gurten Festival 2025 will take place from July 16th to 19th.
  • Nina Chuba opens the festival on the main stage on Wednesday.
  • Franz Ferdinand and Will Smith are further highlights on the following days.

From July 16th to 19th (Wednesday to Saturday) the Gurten Festival will take place for the 42nd time on Bern’s local mountain. Currently 26 of 65 acts are known. First he released together with DJ Jazzy Jeff and rapped as The Fresh Prince, later solo and as Will Smith, creating club and global hits such as “Getting Jiggy with It” and “Miami”, which still get parties going today.

For years, the Gurten Festival has dedicated its own stage to Swiss music: the Waldbühne. In addition to local heroes like Jule
