“Zaccagni nervous about the substitution? He should have kept quiet!”

Last night something surreal happened at the Olympic Stadium in Rome. The hosts of the Lazio in fact, who up to this point of the season had been almost perfect both in the league and in the cup, they had a very sudden setback: l’Inter she imposed herself with a very round and very heavy 0-6 in the postponement of the 16th matchday of Serie A.

So a bad knockout in front of their fans for Baroni’s team, who certainly didn’t expect such a performance and result. As a result however, it was evident the nervousness among the players on the pitch. One above all Matthias Zaccagniwhich in the last minutes he did not like the substitution made by the Biancoceleste coach and left the pitch in a visibly altered manner.

These are Mr. Baroni’s words after the match regarding the substitutions and what happened with Zaccagni.

Baroni on the replacement of Zaccagni

“When he was replaced Zaccagni was very nervous, in fact as he left he said something to the fourth official. So at that point I yelled at him to shut up because there was nothing to say after a performance like that. We said what we needed to say among ourselves in the locker room. Now I can’t wait to have a new discussion with the boys to understand what happened: we must take advantage of these situations to grow, because we cannot disunite at the first difficulty. This will never happen again.”
