The 29-year-old elected official is suspected of aggravated domestic violence and spousal rape. The investigations carried out searches at his home as well as in the premises of the Town Hall.
Without a label, but supported by the right, Nicolas Bazzucchi took over the town hall held by the communists for 50 years by defeating the outgoing mayor Christine Capdeville, on March 6, 2022, during municipal partial elections caused by the resignation of several elected members of the majority.
