During the prime debrief this Sunday, December 15, Marine made an impression by firmly rebuffing Marlène Schaff after the latter used a nickname that did not suit her at all.

Here is an academician who doesn't give in and the nicknames? Very little for her. This Sunday, December 15, Marlène Schaff went to the castle of Dammarie-les-Lys for the usual post-prime debrief (to be discovered in the daily newspaper of this Monday, December 16). The opportunity for the stage expression teacher to look back on Marine's performances and in particular to congratulate her for her duet with Maïa on Eternal Flame. Unfortunately, the student did not seem ready to hear these compliments. Aged 24, the young dentist has battled with herself since the start of the adventure, having very little self-confidence. “I’m jaded. […] I don't know why I don't sing in tune and my performances are not crazy things […] I feel like I'm frustrated because I'm not showing what I want to show.” she confided on the verge of tears.

Marlène Schaff, touched, then tried to comfort her, but… she missed it: “I think you’re a little tired, Marinette!” she said. A nickname that the young woman immediately rejected: “Ah, you don't call me that”, she exclaimed, pushing the stage expression teacher away. Taken by surprise, Marlène Schaff quickly recovered: “Oh, sorry! My Marinou… You know when I give a nickname, often it's because I like people, don't blame me.” she explained, adding: “Wow, I pressed the wrong button”, facing a Navy, always on edge.

Marine, shaken by Maïa’s departure

In addition to her performances, Maïa's departure deeply affected Marine, as she confided in the confessional: “Maïa, this week was still my partner, in the sense that we prepared 'Eternal Flame' and it was a pretty big performance for us. And anyway, he was a person with whom I got along very well and whom I love very much.” Added to this is the fact that she was not at all prepared to see her friend leave the adventure, convinced that Maïa was one of the public's favorites: “I'm shocked, because I thought she was loved by the public. She probably is. But I thought she was even more loved than me. I didn't think she was going to leave,” she had also admitted to the other students, as soon as they returned to the castle. From now on, she will have to remobilize, while the competition intensifies day by day.
