Complicated Monday morning for many Paris metro users. Due to a power outage, train traffic is currently partially interrupted on line 6. RATP announces a resumption of traffic around 10 a.m. On line 14, after a traffic interruption between Gare de Lyon and Madeleine, traffic resumes, but remains disrupted on the entire line “as a result of an electrical outage at Pyramides”.
Bad news for road users ligne 6 and the ligne 14 from the metro. This Monday, December 16, 2024, in the morning, the RATP announces disruptions on these two busy metro lines in the network due to electrical outages.
In detail, traffic had been interrupted on line 14 since around 5:30 a.m. between Gare de Lyon and Madeleine. However, the trafficremains disrupted on the entire line as a result of a power outage at Pyramides“, warns the RATP.
On the ligne 6train traffic is still suspended between Raspail and La Motte-Picquet – Grenelle. The Cambronne, Sèvres-Lecourbe, Pasteur, Montparnasse – Bienvenüe and Edgar Quinet stations are currently inaccessible on this metro line. The resumption time was initially estimated at 7:30 a.m. From now on, the Régie Autonome des Transports Parisiens announces a resumption of traffic at 10 a.m., and invites travelers to take alternative routes, such as lines 4, 8, 10 and 12.
