Traffic interrupted on part of lines 6 and 14 of the metro this Monday morning

If you are a user of lines 6 and 14 of the metro, your journey could become complicated this Monday morning. Since 5:30 a.m., traffic has been cut off on part of line 14, between Gare de and Madeleine stations, due to an electrical outage at Pyramides, RATP announced on its Twitter account.

A return to normal for this automatic metro is planned for 8:30 a.m.

On line 6, traffic is significantly slowed down, and even interrupted between Raspail and La Motte-Picquet-Grenelle again due to an electrical outage. Traffic should be restored around 10 a.m., according to the RATP.

Conversely, after four consecutive days of strike by railway workers at the call of the CGT and Sud Rail, the RER C and D are running well this Monday morning. The employees oppose the dismantling of Fret SNCF, the freight transport subsidiary, Fret SNCF, as well as the upcoming opening to competition of the TER and Transilien lines. Lines J and L, departing and arriving from Saint-Lazare, will be the first to be affected, in 2025.

Unsa-Ferroviaire and CFDT-Cheminots withdrew their call for mobilization after the signing of an agreement guaranteeing the maintenance of rights for three years for all employees of Fret SNCF, which will disappear in favor of two new subsidiaries.
