VfB Stuttgart achieved its second home win in the 14th round of the Bundesliga. The runner-up from last season won 3-1 in Heidenheim and is moving closer to the top 4 for the time being.
Stuttgart’s redeeming third goal in the 85th minute was preceded by a foul on Fabian Rieder. Nick Woltemade converted the penalty. Rieder came into the game in place of Enzo Millot for the last quarter of an hour. He made it 2-1 shortly before half-time after making a mistake six minutes earlier to make it 1-1.
