Miss Martinique, Angélique Angarni-Filopon is Miss France 2025. She was elected this December 14 at Futuroscope in Poitiers. She succeeds Eve Gilles.
“It’s an honor to stand in front of you. When I won the Miss Martinique competition, I told the people of Martinique that we were going to do it together. And we did it together! Thank you!”, declared the new beauty queen in tears.
His runners-up are…
- Sabah Aib, miss Nord-pas-de-Calais First runner-up
- Stella Vangioni, Miss Corse second dauphine
- Moïra André, Miss Guadeloupe third runner-up
- Lilou Emeline-Artuso, Miss Côte-d'Azur, fourth runner-up
Angélique Angarni-Filopon makes the history of the competition. This 34-year-old flight attendant is in fact the first candidate over 30 to be elected Miss France. She was the oldest contestant in the competition.
Short cut, like Eve Gilles
It was a relaxation of the rules of the competition two years ago, which allowed Angélique Angarni-Filopon to run again more than ten years after having already tried her luck in the competition.
“Without any irony, I find that 34 is still very young,” she confided to Paris Match.
“But I am aware that this is not usual for a Miss competition. I hope to be one of those who initiate the evolution.”
Like Eve Gilles before her, Angélique Angarni-Filopon wears short hair. Eve Gilles' hairstyle caused a lot of talk last year, at the time of her election. The election of Angélique Angarni-Filopon shows that things are changing a little within the Miss France competition.
