TWEETS REVIEW – On the social network X, formerly Twitter, Assia Roosz-Tomenti's outfit was widely derided by viewers.
Miss France 2025 is now! This Saturday, December 14, the 30 candidates are competing for the coveted crown in the Futuroscope hall. Presented by the indestructible Jean-Pierre Foucault, dressed in a disco ball costume, the Misses also wore sometimes surprising outfits.
After the portraits of the most beautiful women in France to the sounds of the 60s, the 30 participants set off in the long-awaited parade of regional outfits: Moulin Rouge for Île-de-France, yellow raincoat for Brittany, Mont- Saint-Michel for Normandy and Lorraine…
Power Ranger or Buzz Lightyear?
Just like last year, Miss Lorraine's costume did not go unnoticed and was widely mocked by viewers. Indeed, represented by Assia Roosz-Tomenti, the North-East region appeared before the Futuroscope audience in a green and white superhero style jumpsuit: “Miss Lorraine is disguised as an Avenger”.
LIVE – Miss France 2025: Miss Corsica interrupted by Jean-Pierre Foucault and the 15 known semi-finalists
“Miss Lorraine who decided to announce the new season of Power Rangers”writes one Internet user, while another compares her to the mythical character of Toy Story, “Buzz Lightyear”. Other viewers are overflowing with imagination and compare this disguise to Jacques Villeret's outfit in Cabbage soup.
An ancestral tradition?
Lorraine clearly does not like the ordeal of regional costumes. This was already the case last year when candidate Angéline Aron-Clauss arrived with, as a costume, a hat, holding a tray and wearing a dress in the shape of… a table. Obviously, Internet users have not forgotten the performance of the Lorraine region.
