After missing the last three games with a muscular injury, Gabriel is back in the starting XI to face Everton on Saturday.
The big Brazilian is one of three changes to the side that beat AS Monaco 3-0 in the Champions League on Wednesday.
Jurrien Timber comes back into the team at right back, while Kai Havertz returns up front. It means Myles Lewis-Skelly retains his place at left back to make his first Premier League start.
Mikel Merino also keeps his place in midfield, with Thomas Partey dropping to the bench. Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard are also in midfield.
