“What a pleasure to be able to shout at that kid again,” jokes, in one of the four videos posted on X, Jane Kaczmarek, who plays Lois, the mother of Malcolm, Reese, Francis, Dewey and Jamie. “I've been waiting for this moment for 18 years! I'll let you discover where Malcolm and his family are today,” said the interpreter of the character of Malcolm, Frankie Muniz. “It’s been 25 years since the first issue aired. I'm so excited I may have peed myself a little. Please excuse me,” added Bryan Cranston, who plays the role of Hal, the father of the family.
For now, we only know that the story will take place years after the last episode since the official synopsis specifies that “Malcolm and his daughter are drawn into family chaos when Hal and Lois demand his presence for their 40th birthday party wedding. “. No broadcast date for these new episodes has also yet been revealed.
French fans a little bitter…
Broadcast for the first time on the American channel Fox in 2000, the series Malcolm, which follows the daily life of a gifted young boy and his family in a middle-class American suburb, established itself as one of the most popular humorous fictions of the 2000s. In France, the episodes were broadcast on M6 from 2001, and due to their immense popularity, they are multi-rebroadcast each year on the small screen.
After the announcement of the return of the series, fans expressed their joy on social networks. But in France, many Internet users above all expressed their sadness. The actress Marion Game, who was the French voice of the character Lois, has unfortunately died. Just like the actor Jean-Louis Faure, who lent his voice to Hal in this series.

“Without Marion Game’s voice, Loïs would seem very dull to me. May she rest in peace” or “We will have a VF without Marion Game so no interest”, tweeted certain Internet users, making the hashtag “Marion Game”, one of the most commented topics this Saturday on the X platform . “For me in Malcolmthe French voice of Lois = Marion Game. Any other choice would be doomed to failure, so I am campaigning for an AI with the voice of Marion Game to double Lois for these episodes,” even wrote a fan of the series.
