Bochum with a full band against Berlin
VfL Bochum travels to the German capital this morning with a full staff. The fourteenth matchday is against Union Berlin. The hosts are currently stumbling and have lost four of their last five games. VfL certainly has a chance of getting their first win of the season – according to head coach Dieter Hecking, this is supported by their training performance during the week despite the current difficult situation.
It would be high time for a win, Bochum is still bottom of the table, eight points behind the relegation place. It is encouraging that the VfL players who were recently ill are fit again. There was also Bochum's last away win in Berlin against Union.
Kick-off at the Alte Försterei is today at 3:30 p.m. As usual, we report on Radio Bochum SPORT.
