Chido: following the red alert, Air Austral and Ewa cancel weekend flights

Following the placement of the territory on red alert, “ano reopening of the airport is planned before Monday December 16, 2024 in the morning,” indicates Air Austral management.

Accordingly, all Air Austral flights departing from and coming from Mayotte on Saturday December 14 are canceled, as well as those on Sunday December 15, 2024 with the exception of direct flights scheduled from Paris to Mayotte.

Nosy BE airport has also made the decision to close its doors. Program adjustments should therefore be considered on the Réunion-Nosy Be line on December 14 and 15.
